"There is a predator living in each of us".
The Rudiments collection is my interpretation of evolution.
Inspired by the anatomy of the body, I can't help but wonder why our body looks the way it does? After all, there have been infinite options for its development. Rudiments in the human body are proof that we share a common DNA. Meaning: there is a predator living in each of us. Or a prey.
Ydentity creates abstract tusks, fangs, claws and vertebrae and tries them on the delicate human body. If in nature they all serve for survival, humans have no need to hunt or defend themselves, however these elements are also a visual language imprinted on our DNA - a signal of danger or strength, appealing and stirring instincts.
Try on my rudiments - who do you feel you are?
